DelArts welcomes Liz Fink-Rakoski for an amazing Contemporary master class!

Wednesday, August 18 from 6 - 7:30PM!

This Contemporary master class with Liz Fink-Rakoski is designed for intermediate to advanced dancers. This class will challenge your artistry and technical abilities through unique training exercises. Class will begin with a dynamic warmup followed by across the floor work, and finishing with a powerful contemporary combo. You will leave with your passion for dance ignited, and your confidence boosted!

Liz Fink-Rakoski is a freelance dance educator, choreographer, and performer. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Shenandoah Conservatory, where she was a recipient of the Excellence in Choreography Award. She has taught at numerous institutions including the University of Delaware, Washington College, Harford Community College, Hagerstown Community College, and Howard Community College. Liz currently teaches and choreographs along the East Coast at a variety of dance institutions. She has been on faculty at 24/7 Dance Studio in Frederick, MD, Elower Sicilia Productions in Thurmont, MD, Delaware Arts Conservatory in Newark, DE, and Cecil Dancenter in North East, MD. For three seasons, Liz has served as a judge for the intercollegiate Evolve Dance Competition. She is the co-creator of the annual workshop Artistry Unleashed, which focuses on developing dancers as artists and creators. Her choreography has been performed throughout the US, including a performance at the prestigious Regional Dance America's nationals. Liz is Rehearsal Director for the professional dance company InvisibleWings Dance Project, and has danced professionally with various companies including touring internationally with InterTOUR Dansa in Spain and France. Liz has been on faculty at the Maryland Council Dance Festival, has showcased her choreography in their Artists’ Concert, and served as President to the Council in 2017, where over $50,000.00 in scholarships were awarded. Liz has a high energy teaching style that encourages dancers to push creative boundaries which allows them to further grow as technicians and artists.

Tyler Hanes, Nikki Snelson, Doug Graham, Rick Pessagno, Ben Cameron, John Dietrich, James Kinney, John and Leo Manzari, Anthony Raimondi, Troy McLaughlin, Jessica Wockenfuss, and the My Broadway Dreams Foundation are some of the masters who have taught at DelArts.
